CMC Steel Texas is one of the largest recyclers in the state of Texas. Steel scrap arriving at our plant is subjected to radiation testing to ensure that no radioactive material enters into the manufacturing process.

It is then sorted according to type and characteristics, and prepared so that it may be charged into the furnace in the mix required for the product being manufactured.
